Native American Style Love Flute
The Native American Style Love Flute is also called a 1 Fire Flute.
This flute was traditionally used for courting and has been heralded as the best type of Native American Style flute ever made.
The Native American Love Flute is in the Plains design classification. This means a tuner that is very easy to play has been installed in the body of the flute itself. This tuner is also referred to as a "smoker's tuner" and doesn't steal the air like others of it's class.
A courting flute has extra time spent in it's manufacture. The wood is thinned in the middle to allow better tonal quality. It is crafted from American grown hardwood that is heat treated (or kiln dried), and made in America.
Once completed, they are finished in an FDA-approved clear coat gloss referred to as a "salad bowl finish."
The flute is hand crafted with every hole burned into the wood so a fault won't develop after a period of time.
Each flute is signed and dated by the craftsman.
The Native American Style Love Flute starts at around $120

Starter Flute
The Starter Flute is very basic. Flutists call it a raw type flute since it's not tuned as other flutes are.
These flutes tend to have very basic tones with very little tonal quality. The wood is not thinned as other flutes to produce the mellow sound associated with the Native American Flute.
It does however produce an acceptable variation of tones for the beginner to enjoy and is an excellent training tool for the fingers.
It's in the Plains design, which means the tuner is in the body of the flute itself. This tuner is also referred to as a smoker's tuner
and doesn't steal the air like others of it's class.
This flute is finished like the others in a gloss finish that is FDA approved. It is a clear coat finished referred to as "a salad bowl finish."

Each flute is hand crafted and every hole has been burned into the wood so a fault won't develop after a period of time.
